French Polynesia
Cruise Holidays
French Polynesia is one of the most popular destinations in the South Pacific for visiting large ship cruises. Most call in at Papeete for a day of shopping and sight seeing. The deep water bays of Moorea and Raiatea are the popular destinations and all make the compulsory call in at Bora Bora for a day at the beach.

There are several large ship cruises (300 + passengers) based in French Polynesia including the Renaissance and Paul-Gauguin. Both depart Papeete every week for a 7-day tour of the Society Islands. There are also several small ship cruises (50 passengers) based in Papeete and large catamarans capable of accommodating 20 people which make trips around the Society Islands.
